We are proud to say that last Saturday our senior choreography group were asked to get involved in helping to raise funds and awareness for the charity ‘Walk in her shoes,’ by dancing near the Bandstand in Ilkley. The girls performed ‘Chammack Challo’ and ‘Uptown Funk’, which were both really well recieved and definetly brought the crowds in.  The event organised by the Soroptimists raised £650 for CARE International. This event attracted many different sections of the community as co-workers, performers and audiences, not only raising the profile of Soroptimists, but making real the benefits of safe water in bringing health, education, food security and a way out of poverty for many women and girls. A huge well done to our girls, dancing on concrete isn’t easy!
